MCC — Multi-Crew Cooperation

For ex-military or experienced pilots who just need the certificate.

Duration: 9 working daysGroundschool: 4 daysSimulator: 5 daysPlaces: 4

Who it is for

For pilots who are experienced and know how to fly a jet. It suits ex-military crews and anyone who needs the certificate rather than the education.

The MCC is required before your first multi pilot type rating, and an airline will expect to see it before it considers you. If you can already fly the aeroplane, this is the shortest route to holding the certificate.

What you will actually do

Standard operating procedures, and why quietly departing from them is how accidents begin. The pilot flying and pilot monitoring split, and how it changes through a sector. Standard calls, so two people who have never met can work together at once. Checklist discipline under pressure.

Then crew resource management and threat and error management applied rather than lectured: normal sectors first, then abnormal, then emergencies, each fully debriefed.

Entry requirements

If you're unsure, talk to us before you book and we will confirm you meet them for your licence and your intended type rating. It is a short conversation, better had first than discovered later.
